Easy Crochet Flower Pot Pattern for Any Crochet Plant (Free Written Pattern)

- Foam Sheet or Cardboard
- Glue
- Optional: 6 mm Safety Eyes, Embroidery Thread

- MR - Magic Ring
- sc - Single Crochet
- inc - 2 sc in same stitch
- dc - Double Crochet
- sl st - Slip Stitch
- BLO - Back Loop Only
- FLO - Front Loop Only
Written Pattern - Soil
Round 1: 8 sc in MR (8)
Round 2: inc in each stitch (16)
Round 3: (1 sc, inc) x8 (24)
Round 4: (1 sc, inc, 1 sc) x8 (32)
Round 5: (3 sc, inc) x8 (40)
Round 6: (2 sc, inc, 2 sc) x8 (48)
Round 7: sc around (48)
Leave a long tail for sewing. Finish the last stitch using an invisible finish.
Flower Pot Pattern
Repeat Rounds 1-7 exactly as above.
Round 8: 1 sc in BLO around (48)
Insert a foam sheet/cardboard circle into the base.
Rounds 9-17: sc around (48 each round)
Round 18: Dummy slip stitch, Ch2, dc in FLO around (48 dc). Join with slip stitch.
Optional Face
- Safety Eyes: Between Rounds 12 and 13
- 6 stitches apart
- Embroider smile between Rounds 10 and 11
Assembly
- Sew soil to flower pot.
- Leave opening.
- Add fiberfill.
- Close remaining stitches.
- Hide yarn tail.
