Crochet Rook for Chess Set | Easy Amigurumi Chess Pattern

R1: MR, 6 sc (6) R2: inc x 6 (12) R3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18) R4: (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24) R5–7: 1 sc in each st (24) R8: (2 sc, dec) x 6 (18) R9: 1 sc in each st (18) R10: (1 sc, dec) x 6 (12) Stuff the base R11: BLO - 1 sc in each st (12) R12–15: 1 sc in each st (12) R16: (2 sc, inc) x 4 (16) R17–19: 1 sc in each st (16) R20: (2 sc, dec) x 4 (12) R21: (1 sc, dec) x 4 (8) R22: 1 sc in each st (8) Stuff again if needed R23: (1 sc, inc) x 4 (12) R24: (2 sc, inc) x 4 (16) R25: (3 sc, inc) x 4 (20) Final round (castle top): *ch 3, sl st in same st, sl st next* — repeat around
Finishing: Fasten off and weave in end through top stitches. Lightly shape base and tower. The ch-3 spikes give the rook its iconic top!
